Alright, so I bought a retail PS3 slim recently and I just received it today. I'm trying to connect it to internet using a wireless connection (because I can't use a wired one), but it doesn't work. When I go to Internet connection settings, if I select "Easy" the PS3 just get stuck at the "Checking network configuration" screen and nothing i have found the answer. :) this happens when u plug your PS3 (when u have changed its settings for an HDTV) with a tv set which has no HD function.. then your playstation wont show any display.. and you cannot change its settings to normal like this.. what you have to do is to press the power button located in front of PS3 for more than 5 seconds.. then PS3 will automatically adjust its
Simply go into your date / time settings and re-sync your clock via internet. I have no clue why this works. I've had to use this fix 3 times over the past 4 months and Neflix ALWAYS works after
