Yep, Cisco VPN Client didn’t work first time but there is a small registry update to make it work. The installation worked fine but after I setup an entry it will tell me “Failed to enable Virtual Adapter” during “Securing communication channel”. I assume it had something to do with the virtual NIC and drivers. Once I removed the WatchGuard client the SonicWall client installed correctly.

Normally if this happens on Windows 7 computer that would be probably because the Internet Connection Sharing (ICS) service was on. But in this case on Windows 8, the ICS was disabled.
