I have a really slow internet connection at around 11pm every night, it happend few weeks ago, first time it was said DNS not responding, and second time as well.
But things have moved on since then and Virgin haven't really kept up. Virgin Media Ireland offer 36Mb upload on their 360Mb service, and other Liberty Global services elsewhere in Europe offer upload speeds of up to 50Mbps. Despite that Virgin Media UK seems to be stuck at 20Mbps.
